Collection of old cell phones through October 9th - UMW will give to agencies that refurbish them for victims/survivors of domestic violence to call 911. (Collection boxes in each SUMC building.)
Sunday, October 11 ~ Second Sunday Food Collection. Wanted: nutritious snack items for children at Silverdale Elementary School and Family Food for DSS agencies in our area to distribute.

November 12 - 15 ~ “Longing for Peace - Exploring the Heart of God” presented by Christian, Jewish and Muslim leaders, at Lake Junaluska Peace Conference. This timely training event is special this year. SUMC will share our “Journey to Tolerance” as a model for interfaith understanding.
