Angel Tree

Angel Tree is an annual mission of our Emmaus Sunday School class and is supported by congregation wide participation. The focus of this ministry is to provide local area children with gifts of clothing, toys and assorted treats for Christmas. This is truly a gift of love for those who have less.

CAN YOU? WILL YOU? — open your heart for an under-privileged kid and help make his or her Christmas a little brighter? SUMC has partnered with local schools to help provide Christmas gifts to children and teens in our local area who would otherwise not receive any gifts. Our Angel Tree will be available in the Narthex of Bldg 2 before and after church services from November 5 through December 10. You are invited to choose an Angel to shop for this Christmas season.

Important! ... Please remember to check-in with an Angel Tree volunteer after you choose your Angel(s), as we have to account for all of them. There is a $30 minimum for gifts and you are asked to put receipts in the gift bag with your purchase. Please do not wrap the gift; bring it unwrapped in a gift bag. Gift cards are appropriate, especially if the child/ teen has requested a hard-to-find item or if you are unsure about a size or style. If you order a gift card online, be sure it will arrive before the December 10 due date. You will receive a detailed instruction sheet when you register your Angel(s). Questions? Please ask Bren Feutz or Kristi Pitchford. Thank you for your generosity and support.

God Bless!
