Our vibrant youth program helps each young person progress spiritually from a childhood faith to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. United Methodist Youth Fellowship, Sunday School, Bible Studies, small groups and mission projects keep them focused on Christ and on service to others. Our youth ministries provide Christian nurturing and positive fellowship while giving teens a wealth of experiences that lead to personal growth and spiritual maturity.

SUMC's active youth group includes middle school (7th and 8th graders) and high school (9th-12th graders). Members, non-members and friends are always welcome. We meet most Sunday evenings from 4:30-6:30 for games, lessons and programs, dinner and a time for announcements and prayer concerns. Check the calendar below for changes to the schedule.

We eat together, pray together and play together. We are Christ centered, faith focused, and mission minded. We encourage parent and youth participation and involvement!

We are also looking for Volunteers!  Sign up for one Sunday or All Sundays - Dinner Included!  Additionally, we are planning some trips for fun and fellowship.  If you're interested in helping out, see Safe Sanctuary and Contact Information below.

Safe Sanctuary
The General Conference of The United Methodist Church, in April 1996, adopted a resolution aimed at reducing the risk of child sexual abuse in the church. Please see Background Check Consent, as well as Volunteer Application and detailed Safe Sanctuary information
