Lord's Ladies
The Lord's Ladies is a Christian social group made up of unattached women (divorced, widowed or just wanting to go out with the girls) who meet for lunch and fellowship following the 11 o'clock worship service (about noon) every Sunday. We meet at the front of the church, determine who is going and who needs a ride, then we car pool as needed.
We rotate restaurants in the local area each week. Our rotation is as follows:
1st Sunday - Red Barn Restaurant outside of Bear Creek
2nd Sunday - Rucker Johns in Emerald Isle
3rd Sunday - T & W Restaurant on Hwy 58 North of Cape Carteret
4th Sunday - Nicky's on Hwy 24 between the Swansboro bridges
5th Sunday - Ribeye's in Cape Carteret
On holiday weekends we often eat in Jacksonville and sometimes go to an afternoon movie.
