Saturday, September 25, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. ~ A Day Apart 

All women of Swansboro UMC are invited to A Day Apart as we rejoice in "Woman: Made in the Image of God."

Our leader, Alice Kirkman Kunka, is the Associate Pastor of Adult Education at First UMC, Cary, NC. She holds a PH.D. in Education as well as a graduate degree in Theological Studies. Alice has extensive experience in teaching and leading retreats and programs for all ages. This event will focus on women, our dif- ferent personalities, our spiritual journeys, our passions, our interactions and more. Anticipate a day to learn and grow, a day of laughter and fellowship, of movement and creativity, of spirituality and reflection. Location: Dolphin Ridge Club, 101 Dolphin Ridge Road, Emerald Isle, NC  (Off Coast Guard Rd, .9 m to Dolphin Ridge turn left, .4 mile into clubhouse on right. Look for: ”Parking for Members.” Car pooling helpful.) Cost: $10 (includes lunch catered by ChowdaHeads). Make checks payable to Swansboro UMC. Memo: Women’s Day Apart. Registration: Forms are available online and outside our church office now. Four lunch menu choices are detailed on the registration form. We offer a variety of Sunday School Classes to meet your needs. 
Sunday School begins at 9:45 and lasts approximately one hour.
