Many people are experiencing financial challenges in their lives – escalating debt, inadequate income, financial pressure at home, suffocating materialism and a sense of need to be more faithful in handling money. God has given us the answers to our financial problems. More than 2,350 verses in the Bible tell us everything we need to know about handling money!
Crown Financial Ministries uses a remarkably effective Small Group Study to train people to apply the financial principles from the Word of God to their everyday lives. The topics include: getting out of debt, saving, spending, earning money, budgeting, giving, investing and training children. The study is very practical. Each time you learn a principle there is a financial exercise to help you apply what you have learned.
Purpose
To train people to be financially faithful in order to know Christ more intimately and to be freed to serve Him.
Objectives
• Encourage people to experience more intimate fellowship with Christ.
• Challenge each person to invite Jesus Christ to be their Lord... of their finances, too.
• Build closer relationships among the participants.
• Help the students put their financial house in order.
Requirements
• Daily prayer for each member of your group.
• Memorize one assigned scripture each week.
• Complete weekly homework assignments-both Bible study and practical application.
(approximately 2 hours of homework per week)
• Cost for Materials: $45 for singles / $55 for couples (includes: book, lesson manual, and applications workbook).
Scholarships are available.
